Our rentals are for locals who have previously ridden in the Brandywine Valley and have knowledge of the area.

Are you an experienced rider who doesn’t have knowledge of the Brandywine Valley? Join us on an escorted rental and our guide will show you the best local secrets, the deepest powder and the most spectacular viewpoints that Whistler has to offer. Ride with the best riders in the valley and enjoy the backcountry in a safe way.  

If you are not experienced on a snowmobile, we recommend that you join us on a private tour catered to your level. Alternatively, join us on a 2 Hour Cruiser Tour or 3 Hour Frontier Tour. 

600cc Summit Gen 4

The 600cc Summit is the little Summit that could. It’s a lighter snowmobile made for quick turns and maximum agility, while still holding its own through heavy powder. The track length of this sled is 154″.

850cc Free Ride

The 850cc Free Ride is an extremely versatile sled. A mix of agile handling and highly responsive power makes it suitable for every terrain. This is a great sled for developing your riding skills and pushing your limits – just let your guide know what you’re working on and they’ll be happy to find you the best terrain.

850cc Summit X E-Tec

A powerful snowmobile made for heavier riders. The 850cc isn’t for the faint hearted – ideal for heavy, deep powder days, this sled will get crunch through it all. The track length options for this sled are 165″ or 154″.

Full driver’s licence required – All drivers are required to be at least 19 years of age and have a full drivers license (N is considered valid, L is not). We do not permit tandem riding on high performance snowmobiles. 

Booking & Payment – A credit card is required to hold all bookings. The credit card used to book must be present when checking in on the day of your tour as well as the card holder and valid ID.  By entering your credit card details you are authorizing that your card will be charged at the time of the tour if no other method of payment is presented. This applies for cancellations within 24 hours or no shows. Please note we require a minimum of 2 machines to run a tour. Any bookings for 1 machine will be tentative until another machine books at the same time.

Rental Damage Policy –  All renters will be subject to a $1000 deposit on top of the rental price prior to the release of any machine. The renter is responsible for ALL damages, recovery and replacement costs. The machine is considered the responsibility of the renter until returned to our office and signed off by a guest service representative. Whistler Snowmobile reserves the right to keep the deposit for 24 hours after return to inspect the machine for damages. 

Rental Agreement – All renters will be required to sign a rental agreement prior to renting a machine. A guide will take you through the document at base, including a pre-trip inspection of the sled. If you would like to see a copy of the agreement in advance, please contact our office. 

Cancellation policy –  We require at least 24 hours notice prior to your tour for any changes or cancellations. Groups of 10 or more require 72 hours notice of change or cancellation. Tours cancelled within 24 hours, ‘no shows’ or missed tour times are liable for the full price of the booking. If you arrive late there is no guarantee we will have spaces for you on a later tour and no refund will be issued. Whistler Snowmobile reserves the right to cancel or combine any tour due to inclement tour weather, un-foreseeable hazards or insufficient bookings. Full refunds will be made or alternate dates will be offered in this situation.  

Release of liability – All guests are required to sign a Release of Liability waiver at our base prior to tour departure. Any guests under 19 must have a parent or guardian sign on their behalf and be present on tour. Please note snowmobiling involves various risks, dangers and hazards. These risks are outlined in our release of liability, waiver of claims, assumption of risks and indemnity agreement. This agreement will affect your legal rights should you be involved in an accident. 

Covid-19 – We are following the government mandates and safety guidelines outlined by WorkSafe BC with regards to opening safely, providing adequate distance and updated health & safety measures. Guests will be required to consent to a non-invasive temperature check and wearing a mask is required at all times. Masks are provided if you don’t have your own. 

Alcohol and Drugs – Under no circumstances is any person suspected of intoxication permitted to participate as a driver or passenger in any tour. Persons denied participation will not receive a refund.
